Abstract

Background. Personnel security is one of the elements that ensure the economic security of enterprises and organizations. The reliability of the personnel plays a leading role in providing personnel security. The formation of a personnel reliability model with subsequent reliability assessment will allow the company's management to ensure an adequate level of personnel security and to level out threats caused by negative intentional or reckless actions of personnel. The aim of the article is to develop a model of personnel reliability for organizations operating in the field of tourism.
Materials and methods. The goal of the research was achieved on the basis of an analysis of the characteristics of the tourism business, as well as the conceptual provisions set forth in the works of domestic and foreign scientists on the problems of ensuring the personnel safety of enterprises.
Results. Different approaches to determining the essence of staff reliability are considered. External factors influencing the degree of human reliability are identified and grouped into two categories: organizational and environmental factors. Specificity of the tourist business in modern conditions of management is determined. A model of staff reliability in a tourist organization is constructed, which includes three clusters, elements for each cluster, and the levels of manifestation of elements. Also, the model shows the influence of external factors on the levels of manifestation of reliability elements. A linguistic characteristic of all elements of the personnel reliability model and recommended methods for their evaluation are presented. The possibility of expanding the reliability model for management personnel is substantiated by including additional elements in it.
Conclusions. The formation of a personnel reliability model with subsequent reliability assessment, as well as management decisions based on the evaluation results, can improve the level of the organization's human resources security, which will certainly lead to an increase in the effectiveness of all activities.
